How to use imported jmx script from badboy app.

    Hi,

I have recorded some https pages navigation using badboy application. I saved and imported it as a jmx file. When I opened the file and run in Jmeter, it executed without any error in Jmeter, but in application the changes are not reflecting. Can anyone help me in this problem. Please let me know any other details needed.

    Thanks in advance,
    Anbuselvan.

Re: How to use imported jmx script from badboy app.

    Hi,

You need to check if the application use JSESSIONID; cookies or some parameter with correlation.
Sometimes, these elements are missing in the exportation BadBoy to Jmeter

    I hope it helps.

    Regards,

    Jose

    Hi Jose,

The problem i am facing is, after exporting as jmx file from badboy, in jmeter script runs without any error. But in server it is not doing any changes. It is very simple script. I just added number of threads in Jmeter after exporting the script.

    Anbuse,

What is your script trying to do, exactly? I suspect Jose is correct - and you need to add a cookie manager.

You say Jmeter script runs without any errors, but Jmeter will only give errors if you tell it to (via response assertion). I would recommend using "View results tree" to see exactly what your requests are doing.

Re: How to run Badboy scripts with n times

    Hi All,

I have created one badboy script, while replaying with incrementing parameters it is running fine. I want to run the same script with 'n' No. of times (iterations).
If I use 'Thread control' for no of users/ iterations, the script is running but the server logs/ results is not generated.

Can any one help me on this?

    Thanks,
    Kanna Rajesh

    KannaRajesh,

Could you give us more information about your script?

Have you checked the requests results?
