Release association when Executing Test Cases
When I 'execute' a test case (standalone - not in a test run), the 'what release' screen pops up and I select the appropriate release and work through the test steps, assigning a result to each step and then 'Finish'-ing the test case execution.
However, the result does not seem to be reported against the release. Even if I run a Release detail report without specifying a release, (which reports on each release separately) the results are still not reported.
Is this a setting issue - or a known bug ?
Does anyone know please ?
Re: Release association when Executing Test Cases
You need to also go to the Release (go to Planning > Releases and click on the specific release) in question and click on the Test Cases tab on the Release.
Then make sure that all the test cases that need to be part of this release are listed in the "Mapped Test Cases" box on the right.
