IIS issues after migrating trial to live database
Has anyone had any issues when it comes to installing Spiratest onto a live server?
I have successfully installed the latest version (2.3.1) of Spiratest onto my servers. I have an IIS server to host the application while the database is held on a separate server. Using the default install options and editing the web.config to point to the database server, the application functions fine.
I've Followed the instructions for migrating my database from the trial copy to live and then running the SQL query suggested to associate the user name correctly.
Following this I am getting repeated errors in IIS where the application pool is crashing due to one of it's dependencies causing problems. If I restart the app pool and IIS, I can sometimes get to the login page, but on trying to get further, either "page cannot be displayed" errors appear or even "Service Unavailable". I have rolled back the server to the sample projects installed with the new app and it works again, but as soon as I migrate it csuaes a problem. My trial server is still running fine.
The trial server is running SQL server 2000 on Windows XP with Spiratest 2.3.0
The live server is running SQL server 2005 on Windows Server 2003 with Spiratest 2.3.1
Re: IIS issues after migrating trial to live database
Are there any errors being displayed in the Windows Application or System event logs on the server running SpiraTest?
