in "run" window, we can use "compmgmt.msc" to open computer management. But in VT, i use the script: run "compmgmt.msc". it doesnot work. Error message is that "The file is not a valid executable image".
Actually i can open "computer management" through control panel>administrative tools>; somehow i want to try this shortcut. anyone know why? thanks...
This is the proper syntax from Windows using Start\Run "mmc \%WINDIR%\SYSTEM32\compmgmt.msc"
But VT's run command has not concept of how files are associated in Windows so you have to supply the file association. Now since VT also gets confused by the %WINDIR%, under Windows XP\2003, this works for me: Run "mmc C:\Windows\System32\compmgmt.msc"
YOu will need to supply the proper path to your System32 folder were mmc.exe resides when running under other OS.
