User entry form
I've a user form which as all active X controls,
I need to enter information and submit the form,
which is the best way to do this,
Is there any data driven functionality in VT.
Re: User entry form
you can use some procedures described in help
section "ActiveX Automation Procedures"
There is several procedures for you and enough easy way to use.
Testing ActiveX Controls
There are a few conditions that must be met before you can use Visual Test to test an application containing ActiveX controls:
Visual Test provides a special ActiveX control named VTEST6.OCX. This special control must be included on any forms containing ActiveX controls you plan to manipulate or test with the ActiveX control procedures. Although the control is visible at design time, it will not be seen at run time. After testing is completed, you can remove the control from your forms or you can include this redistributable control when you ship the application.
Any container that holds an ActiveX control you plan to test must support the IOleContainer interface. If not, Visual Test will not be able to locate other ActiveX controls on the form. If you try to use an ActiveX control procedure on an ActiveX control that does not support this interface, a run-time error will be generated.
The IOleContainer interface must also support the EnumObjects method. This method enables Visual Test to locate and communicate with ActiveX control objects. If the container does not support this method and you attempt to use an ActiveX control procedure on an ActiveX control, a run-time error will be generated.
