How to control a pop up window from a web page
Im using VT 6.1 and can't find how to control (activate) a pop-up window from the context web page I'm testing.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
fyi, the pop -up window is 'stripped' off navigation but has parameters for running reports (based on the weblink run to initiate the pop-up window).
Re: How to control a pop up window from a web page
You can catch the handle of that popup menu by its title. After that you can process your required actions. If your system has Win2000 OS, you can use Active Accessiblity Procedures.
lHandle1 = WFndWndC (sTitle , "Internet Explorer_TridentDlgFrame",FW_DIALOGOK OR FW_FOCUS Or FW_PART OR FW_NOCASE )
If (lHandle1 <> 0) Then
WSetWndPosSiz(lHandle1 , 300, 250, 350, 250)
WComboSetClass("Internet Explorer_TridentCmboBx") 'To set different Classes for particular applications
If WComboItemExists("@1", sComboItem) Then
print ("Play in popup from PopupHandler by General procedures.")
print("Item doesnt exist in Popup - " + sComboItem)
giTestResult = giTestResult + 4
Hopes it will help to You.
Thanks & Regards,
Don't hesitate to initiate!
