Anyone know what a UID Map is? and how it interacts with the rtxml files in test log directory? From what I've been able to gleen off the internet I think the UID map has something to do with organizing the test logs but i can't find more information about it. My datastore was corrupted and some of the error messages were that some script *rtxml files were missing from the UID map.
The UID of each file is stored in the rtxml file of the respective script. These are linked/mapped through the TMS_UIDMAP table in the tds.mdb database (located under DefaultTestScriptDatastore folder of the repository).
For better understanding, create a new repository and record a new script. Post that, check the linking of scripts through UID. I believe, some of the required rtxml files have been deleted.
What you can do is create a new script and copy the contents of .rec file manually (if verification points are not there).
