Rational data restore
I was wondering if you could do me a large favour. We had a test manager which appeared in Rational Administrator, unfortunately it was deleted via the Administrator rather than been unregistered. Is their any way to restore the robot scripts associated with the test manager project. Ive noticed a series of files still exist in the project directory but there is no .rsp.
Re: Rational data restore
I hope this helps. It is messy. IF the .sbl and .rec files are still in the directory [project name]\TestDataStore\ DefaultTestDataStore\TMS_Scripts then you can build a new project to recover them. Start the administrator and create a new project. Once the project has been built, copy the .rec and .sbl files into the new project directory structure.
DO NOT copy the .rtxml files as these are tied back to the old project structure.
Once the files are copied, they can be added to the new project by using the menu option File\New. Use the old file name as the name for the new file. Rational has set up the program to pull in the old file if one exists with the same name.
This is messy but is one method of fixing you issue.
