Hi all,

I'm brand new to this forum, and relatively new to Rational Robot. I'm using version 2003.6.14.567.000, and attempting to automate the installation of windows updates on a computer. Our lab has a WSUS server that each computer can connect to for automatic updates, but the problem is that it doesn't have a convenient web-interface (only the windows auto-update).

I am having a lot of trouble getting a script to consistently click on the "Updates are ready to install" icon in the taskbar, since it can show up in different locations. Coordinates are out of the picture (too unreliable) and so far my attempts to use keyboard shortcuts have come up short as well. Any advice on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated. Preferably, it should work on both XP and 2003 server.

In case you were wondering, I have already looked to see if there is an application in Windows to just pop up the screen via StartApplication, but Windows Update appears to resistant to simple, "silent" installs.
