I am having a problem recording scripts on some Java applications.
The problem is that Robot and/or the application under test hangs while recording. Running the Object Indentifier results in a crash of the application under test.
The console displayes the message 'Invalid Sun JDK 1.2, use Java Enabler to remedy'.
I then ran the Enabler (selecting the full search option) and enabled all the JVMs that were detected.
After rebooting my PC I am still having the same problems including the 'Invalid Sun JDK etc' message.
I have checked the Robot support site but there is no info beyond this point.
Does any have any suggestions?
Ensure that SqaRobot.jar has been copied to JRE/Lib/Ext path of the JVM from which your application is running.
Also, Check JRE/Lib/accessibility.properties file for follwoing.
A CANDLE LOSES NOTHING BY LIGHTING ANOTHER CANDLES.
It sounds like you have the incorrect version of the JDK. Download the latest from Sun.com/java
Then run the Java Enabler again and select Complete button
