Robot vs. Functional Tester Learning Curve
I will eventually post this in the Functional Tester forum, but I thought I would start here first.
Has any Robot users tried Rational Functional Tester ?
To be blunt, I find the learning curve very high.
With Robot I record 90 % of my scripts, then incorporate conditional statement. END...IF, LOOP...END LOOP, SELECT CASE....etc.
We have a team of Java programmers who use Rational Functional Tester. The do the opposite, 90 % of pure coding and 10 % recordings.
The transition from SQA to Rational Robot was relatively easy.
I am finding the transition of Rational Robot to Rational Functional Tester almost impossible.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
