Problem with HTML Link
I am having some trouble working with HTML links on a web page. When I record with Rational Robot, following code is getting generated.
HTMLLink Click, <font color="blue"> "Type=HTMLLink;HTMLText=Txt;VisualText=Txt"</font>, ""
When I create a Verification Point,
HTMLLinkVP (CompareProperties, <font color="blue">"Type=HTMLLink;HTMLText=Txt;VisualText=Txt"</font>, "VP=TxtLink")
But when I use the above statements in SQAFindObject
SQAFindObject(<font color="blue">"Type=HTMLLink;HTMLText=Txt;VisualText=Txt"</font>), result is 1003 saying that the object is not found. Do any body have a clue of why this is happening.
my actual requirement is I am looking for some links on the web page and if the link is not present, in the viewing area, I need to scroll down and then I need to click on that link. Any suggestions or solutions please?
Re: Problem with HTML Link
Hey first use the inspector and find the hierarchy of the links for where they are located.
There will be some frames and/or tables in which they are located.
Enter the whole hierarchy in your SQAFindObject and you will be able to resolve ur errors.
