    google vbSendMail - you can get the dll then it's a simple matter of including the appropriate code in the script..

    U also can record a sub to use Outlook or other E-mail application to send E-mail to you to tell you that the execution is done.

    I've seen some scripts to use this method.

    oEmailMsg.Recipients.add("emailid")
    oEmailMsg.subject = "Mail from Rational Robot"
    oEmailMsg.Body = "Email Body"
    oAttachments.Add("c:\temp.txt")

    Re: Sending Status Mails from Rational Robot

    I tried to run this code, but it requires manual intervention.
    The messages pops up are -

    1. A program is trying to access email addresses you have stored in outlook. Do you want to allow this? If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose 'No'

    another message pop up is -

    2. A program is trying to automatically send email on your behalf. Do you want to allow this? If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose 'No'

    How can I get rid of this messages? ( I am not able to click on these messages automatically)

    Outlook 2003's security model will hit you with a pop-up if you attempt this code. It would only work on older installations.
