How do I record dynamically changing variables like time stamps with Robot.
EX: We r using Insurence applications which contains policy effective date, expiration date(which is not the current date and time). I want robot to ignore those dates and accept the existing values while playing back. Coz recording timestamps will be different than playing back, that' when robot is not able to recognize that window
What I did is, I've recorded a window, and robot is recognizing that window based on the window heading. That window heading contains some number, date(which is dynamic). I don't know, from where that window is getting that informaiton. If that number changes while playing back, robot is not able to recognize that window.
Now I have to find out a way to get that value automatically to the robot, whenever it changes or I need a way to Make robot to ignore that value. If you now the way to record that window without heading, pls let me know.
I am recording a window and robot is recording that window based on the window heading. My window heading contains binding date(which is based upon issuing policy, when ever a policy is issued, binding date changes) which is I think hard coded value. When I play back the script, some times binding date changes, and robot is not recognizing that window.
I want to make that value dynamic, in the sense, I need to find a way to get those values, or find a way that Robot can ignore those values.
