Re: String exceeds the maximum size of 32,767 characters...How can I handle this better??
Perhaps you can something like this this:
</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">
FileLength = FileLen(sFile )
if FileLength > 20000 then
sErrMsg = "File is too large for the read."
iErrMsg = MSGFailure
...</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">Notice 20000... I had trouble trying to get the 32k limit to work.
Otherwise, see if you can pull back 30k of characters at a time (sorry, I don't know if this can be done) then loop until no more characters returned.
String exceeds the maximum size of 32,767 characters...How can I handle this better??
I've tried to use the following methods..
BigString = grabScreenData("ScreenorPagewith Data", "Type=HTMLTable;Index=2", "innertext") and InnerHTML (obvisously HTML is even larger.
I've also tried to handle it this way too...
SqaResult = SQAGetProperty( "Type=HTMLDocument;Index=2", "FullRecognition", parentPrefix )
If SqaResult = SqaSuccess then
parentPrefix = parentPrefix + ";\;"
SqaResult = SQAGetChildList("Type=HTMLDocument;Index=2", sList)
cObj = SQAGetListCount(sList)
Both ways seem to exceed limit. I need to drill through each line of this data. is there a better way to move this to the clipboard, TextPad, NotePad or even a raw text file and work through the file itself. Any help would be appreciated. thanks!!!
