    Anyone has an Email Function?

    Hi QA Forum Community, does anyone have an email function or sub procedure that can send results from Robot? I am not allowed to install any software on my PC, so I can not use the vbSendMail.dll one. Also, there's another one in the Rational Users' group but I can seem to get it to work. (Email.sbl, Email.sbh, and Email_X.sbh)

    Thanks in advance!

    Maybe you can use CDO/Mapi Object from Microsoft. Should be on most Windows Boxes.

    Re: Anyone has an Email Function?

    I m using this code for sending email after successful run of script with a attachment.

    Set objEmail = CreateObject("CDO.Message")
    objEmail.From = "Rational Robot@d-p-s.com"
    objEmail.To = ""
    'objEMail.Bcc = ""
    'objEmail.Cc = ""

    objEmail.Subject = "CampusVue Reports - Generated"

    objEmail.AddAttachment "c:\new.txt" (path of Result File)

    objEmail.HTMLBody = "Hello!<br><br> br><br> ! "

    objEmail.Configuration.Fields.Item _
    ("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusing") = 2
    objEmail.Configuration.Fields.Item _
    ("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserver") = _
    "mail3.d-p-s.com"
    objEmail.Configuration.Fields.Item _
    ("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserverport") = 25
    objEmail.Configuration.Fields.Update
    objEmail.Send

    Hi Irfan,

    Thanks for sharing your code.
    I used it into my script. Script could played back successfully but I do not receive any mail on reiceipant add. Do I need to do something else?

    Thanks
