IP Aliasing Setup.
I am testing a webI have enabled IP aliasing on the controller machine (via the runtime settings) and entered 10 IP addresses (for the aliasing) on the agent machine via windows networking. However, on playing back the scripts, no load is directed to based application that sits on two webservers behind a BIG IP load balancer. The plan is to initially test just 100 VU users.
My load injection hardware is currently one controller and one agent machine (Window 2000 and XP respectively)
the second webserver. I have also tried putting the IP addresses on the controller machine but i get the same result.
My question is, should the pool of IP's be entered on the controller machine or agents?
Can you think of a reason that the load is not balancing correctly?
Re: IP Aliasing Setup.
I think i have sussed it out. The Webserver was down initially.
I can confirm that the IP addresses need to go on the agent machine.
