Executing commands on Unix
I have to automate some test cases that require some unix operations like running a script residing on the server.
Is it possible from a GUI script to connect to a unix server and execute the command and then proceed with the normal execution.
Re: Executing commands on Unix
You could create a chron job on the Unix server that looks for a file in a certain directory and then executes and deletes that file. In your Robot script, send a shell script to that directory and then wait until it disappears. Alternately, there may be some Unix utilities (possibly telnet) on the Yahoo user's group.
