I know this may be a silly question based on my understanding of Robot (being a QA tool) and being a Segue user, but I have been told that Robot does load/performance testing. I am about to move to a project to assist with performance and load testing the group is using Robot for the QA and if it can do comprehensive load and performance testing it would be easier for me to learn their system then trying to teach tem mine. So I guess my question is can Robot truly do comprehensive load and performance testing and has anyone used it for this purpose?
Re: Does Robot truely do Load/Performance Testing?
I don't really know what you'd consider to be 'comprehensive', but Robot does support load testing. It comes with 1 virtual user to try it out. I can't use it because it doesn't understand native SQL Server protocol, but possibly this is a limitation of other tools as well. Maybe if you have some more specific questions about features someone could give a good answer.
