    Multiple Web Browsers and Robot

Anyone have some ideas on how to get the one test script to apply to various web browsers
The latest version of Robot supports Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator 4.* only and, unfortunately for us, we are required to test our software with additional browsers e.g. Firefox, Mozilla etc. etc.

Any ideas on the best way forward for these non-supported browsers: should we look to manual testing, buy a new tool which is better for this task or something far more obvious that I haven't thought about.

Re: Multiple Web Browsers and Robot

    Hi,
is this true that Robot now only supports IE and Netscape Navigator 4+?
Has anyone used it successfully with Mozilla, Opera or Firefox browsers?
    Thanks
    Paul

I have used Robot against Opera and Mozilla. This should work for you? If not, I can swap some code that I created.

IBM\Rational Robot® 2003 does not support testing of HTML in the Mozilla Firefox® browser. This is what is displayed on that page.
