accessing elements of a two dim array

    Hi,

I have a two dimensional array (data grid)
I want to access elements (value in each cell) of the grid
I don't want to use a VP for this, instead I want to get it through object scripting commands like SQAGetProperty etc.

I tried using SQAGetProperty, SQAGetPropertyArray but I guess these are used for one-dim arrays.
If I try to use the two-dim array variable in SQAGetPropertyArray as in:

    Dim cellcontent(30,6) as String
    SQAGetPropertyArray "Name=FlexigridOrders", "TextMatrix", cellcontent

I get a type mismatch error in parameter 3 while compiling it.
Please let me know how I can access cell info from a data grid

    Thanks
    Sree

Re: accessing elements of a two dim array

Use the functions available in 'Grid.sbl' ( u can download it from Rational utilities). I don't remember the exact path. Put a search for 'Grid Functions' in 'Qa Forums' and u can download 'Grid.zip'. Copy the extracted *.sbl & *.sbh files under sqabas32 folder and compile them using robot. Then include 'Grid.sbh' in y'r script and call the required Grid Functions.
