I'm new to Rational Robot/Test Team.
I 'm facing the following problem
While recording a GUI script - It is recording all the mouse movements/clicks etc - even those clicks that I do on windows (IE/Win-Explorer,Word...etc), that I do.
Is there a way in which I can tell RR to take the click only on the AUT(Application under Test).
When recording a script -
I want to start a Robot script and then proceed by locking my machine (CTRL-ALT-DEL). Once I do this the script automatically stops, is there a way to run a script and lock your machine without having Robot shutdown?
Please tell me how I can achieve these?
Re: new to Rational Robot/Test Team.
When you do something that you do not want recorded click pause on the GUI Record box. The Second part of your question robot can not run with the machine being locked. Think of it as you trying to do what you want robot to do. So if the machine is locked it can't do anything without being able to see the application.
