    Testing on Citrix

Does anyone have any information regarding testing an application that is being launched through a Citrix environment. My question is that how can I automate the test if none of the objects can be accessed though the object properties (ie, name, or caption)? Currently I am using coordinates or keystrokes, I don't like doing this but this is my only option at this point. The application being tested is a client server application running over a hosted environment using Citrix.
    Any help is very appreciated.

    Re: Testing on Citrix

I use Citrix and have no problems I make my scripts on a local computer. Put my scripts on the network and run them through Citrix.

recono1, you must have admin privileges. I cannot test on the network due to security reasons. I guess I must be SOL.

Have your Admin Load the test agent on the Citrix server.

or if you have SQL on the box and you have SA priviledges you can use xp_commandshell and add an administrator account on the box for yourself and IS won't even know. or You can do what the guy above this post said.
