    Probably. What are you trying to record? What are your settings? Record method and protocol are the most likely settings that need to be adjusted, but it's impossible to tell with this little information.

    Re: robot fail to record vu script

    I want to record odbc protocol.
    My setting is :
    In menu " tool->session record options->method " i selected "api record".
    In page "generator filtering" i selected "auto filtering and manual filtering" and odbc is in slected protocols.
    During "generating scripts","manual filtering " dialog is found .It's include "odbc and sqlserver".I do not change that setting and pressed "ok".
    But I did not get any script at last.
    thanks again.

    Ok, so does your client use ODBC or is that just used on the back end? Did you launch the application with Robot or was it running when you started recording?

    Ok, so you have successfully recorded ODBC scripts on this application before and now you can't? Simple - what changed?

    Am I missing something here?
