Checking For Disabled Button
I am trying to use Robot to verify a multiple page report that is displayed through Adobe 5.05. I want to have Robot determine if the next page arrow is disabled and if it is end my testing. I tried a generic object verification point but it never seems to record the object with a disabled value. This is even when the arrow is grayed out.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Checking For Disabled Button
You can try this. Do an object verification at the bottom of the page where it says "1 of 2". Perform the SQAGetProperty function. Perform the string manipulation to find out if the right of the text and the left of the text Eg. "1" & " of " & "2" is egual and if they are then you know you are at the last page.
Dim strValue as String
'*** make the Adobe page get the focus like
' Window SetTestContext, "Caption=06252003_2.pdf;ChildWindow", ""
Result = SQAGetProperty ("ObjectIndex=2","text",strValue)
Hopefully this should work.
