Can someone please give a reall example of the execution of the function treSelectNode contained in the library that was downloaded from here TreeView.sbh
What I need is to select a node in a tree by a substring contained in that node

Function treSelectNode(sRecogStr as String, sNodeName as String) as Integer
'Select node text Hello from
'treeview having a name of TreeViewGroup
sRecogStr = "Name=TreeViewGroup"
sNodeName = "Hello"
The function takes care of adding the ;/;ItemText= part used in the TreeView Click action to select the node.
If the Hello was a child node of, lets say, Bye how would you write the SNodeName "Bye->Hello"?
I getting an error saying "FUNCTION treSelectNode - could not locate TreeView: Type=Treeview;ID=218
[1 = ]"
When I use this recognition string with TreeClick it works ok, but the treSelectNode doesn't work, the thing is that I need this function because I need to locate a node by a substring
I have been trying to solve this problem for a number of days, but nothing works
Not sure what that [1= ] is in your posting?
Forget the treSelectNode for now can you get the TreeView to work, if so then treSelectNode should work?
TreeView Click "Type=Treeview;ID=218;\;ItemText=\Hello->Bye", ""
sRecogStr = "Type=Treeview;ID=218"
sNodeName = "\Hello->Bye"
