    Robot 2002 - Stack Overflow

I just installed Rational Test Studio 2002 over 2000 and tried recording an API session in a JSP Login page. As soon as the browser opens a 'Session Recorder' msg pops up saying:
    -------------------------------------
The application (C:\...\Iexplore.exe) experienced a fatal application error.
    Code: C00000FD (Stac Overflow)
    Addr: 11C051FB
    Flags: 00000000
    -------------------------------------
I installed Java Enabler and Upgraded to IE5.5, reinstalled 'NT Sp6a'. What am i missing ?
P.S: Tools > Extension Manager > IE, Java are checked.

Just to trouble shoot this one - do you have any other testing tools on that box?

Yes, Loadrunner 7.0 is there, but it was not started at that time. Is it that like LR does change your settings, Robot tried to change some settings in IE and IE denies that with a fatal error?
I just tried with LR and it records fine.

I just know that Mercury and Rational like to fight with each other if they're on the same box. Is it possible for you to save your work and move Robot to another box? See if that works? I know its not a good answer as I hate it when tech. support tells me that stuff but I do know the two tools collide.
