Re: What is CommandLine ???????
umm - I'm not sure I completely understand. The term "Command Line" refers to text commands that you type in a DOS window - or more commonly on a Unix system - so that you don't have to go through the GUI.
Command Line scripts and script execution are useful for things like launching batch processes during your functional test scripts. One senario might be "does the system still function during the nightly batch upload of data from the remote office." Well that batch is going to be scheduled/launched via command line.
The other place you may be going with this, is Robot/TestManager have many functions that can be accomplished at the command line - such as launching scripts. This would allow you to telnet into the computer and launch scripts without having to open the Robot/TestManager GUI.
That's a basic overview. Does that answer your question?
