Copy scripts between databases?
We have two databases, because we have two versions of our product. So every script should run on both versions, but the versions can be different. That's why we need two databases. Almost identical, but some scripts are different.
So, we create a script in one database and want to copy it to the second database. Can we do that in an easy way?
Any suggestion is welcome. Thanks.
Re: Copy scripts between databases?
It is very easy to port a Robot project to another machine or create another copy.
Just zip the whole Robot project folder (which contains the .rsp file) into a file and unzip at some other place. The .rsp, the .dat and some .rtxml files contain the filepaths to the project files. Do a text search and replace the filepaths contained in those files with the new filepaths.
Please also refer my earlier reply "How to export Robot project" for further details.
