Anybody using QuickTest?

I believe I will be shortly. Anyone else who'd rather switch then fight?

I am using Mercury's QuickTest (AQT) on my latest project. I've joined a
team with 1000's of test cases already automated with AQT, so it isn't up
to me to select a new better tool. It's adequate.
If I had to choose a Mercury tool, I would prefer WinRunner. I've used
Robot for a number of years, and it's not a major effort to switch. Take
their on-line tutorial, spend a day playing with it, and you should be
good to go. I had the most difficult time making the conceptual switch to
a repository with application state information rather than everything in
the individual scripts.
AQT is simpler than Robot, and once you've learned the object model it is
easy to use. I find the user interface intuitive. The good news is that
it's still VB so all of your coding experience is directly transferable.
Send me mail off-line if you'd like to discuss further.
