    RobotJ Agent and Datapool

User Paulo Ricardo Tatsch Dutra (paulod@dbserver.com.br.nospam) posted:

    Hi all,

When I run a specifc RobotJ script (that use a Datapool), this script
finished with error: the datapool didnīt found ! Can help me ?! Thereīs a
specific sintax to declare/open the datapool on RobotJ ? Iīm ask, because
this script works fine at my W2K, but not at Agent (Linux RedHat 7).

    Thanks,

    Paulo Dutra.

Can the Agent access the server/computer that the datapool is on?

I will verify this "access", but there are others statement, like "the
open of Datapool" that I need to do with specific sintax ? How must I have
    to open this Datapool ?

You are using a proper *licensed* copy aren't you, because you just have to
refer to the manuals (specifically the SQABasic one) to find the answer or
at least help to get you where you want to go.

I would strongly recomend you think of using .csv files (edit with excel
read as a text file), rather than datapools.

Also, .csv/Excel files are WAY easier to use and more efficient to create
and modify then import/export to Test Manager datapools, than trying to work
    with datapools in Test Manager.

Is this mind set with regard to datapools consistent with robot as well as
