    absolutely.

no question is too stupid for us.

just make sure to read through the archives and get the codesamples from the Yahoo group first, that should get you going.

We are going to record and playback.

The thing I'm wrestling with is how to handle the implementation of new
    functionality.

Test manager seems to be a great repository for test cases. Both for new
    functionality and regression purposes.

However, since I've never put the tool to use I was wondering how you guys
    implement new functionality.

I was thinking that for a new function that I'd implement in manually for
the iteration that it was delivered and automate it for subsequent
    iterations.

I may be was off but to me, it doesn't make sense to script a test case
where it hasn't been proven that it would pass or fail. It seemed logical
that in order to capture pass/fail metrics initial delivery of new
functionality that you'd have to manually execute the test case. Once it
passes and you have determined that it's a good candidate for scripting then
    you would script it.

Am I on the right path or is there something I'm missing?

    Thanks
