I am a advanced WinRunner user and starting to work with Robot these last few weeks. Before we start application, we first delete some registry keys (to make sure we have a clean situation). In WinRunner I have the function del_reg_key and with this function I can specify which registry key I want to delete.
I haven't found something simulair in Robot.
I'm a long time SilkTest user and am currently evaluating Robot so I don't have an exact answer to your question but what I did in SilkTest, before they supplied their Reg_DeleteKey function, is make a dll call to advapi32.dll to access RegDeleteKey. I think you will have to do the same in Robot. I did not see any registry functions available.
Here is the syntax:
LONG RegDeleteKey (in LONG hKey, STRING lpSubKey) alias "RegDeleteKeyA";
Have you ever noticed? Anybody going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac.
