Rational Robot advice
I am trying to test a situaion where a variety of return codes are displayed on a Coolgen window list box.
I cannot copy and past the values to a clip board.
As there will be 50+ tests for different groups of return codes I don't want to record 50 differernt verification points.
Is there a way I can have a variable baseline - to compare with the actual results? Currently I have used the Object Properties VP which is static.
Any advice would be welcomed.
Thanks in advance, Judith
Re: Rational Robot advice
Actually you can have just one dummy VP. Use it in as many places as you want. But do your own checking programmatically. Robot stores the results of VP execution in *.*grd files which are simple text files in the <SQAGetLogDir>/vp folder. You can use standard Basic file I /o commands like Open, Line, Write etc to check the contents of the file and get the return codes yourself.
