Known restrictions for java combo boxes?
User Bernd Weber (email@example.com) posted:
I have now encountered a java combo box that had no properties named
"itemAt" or "itemCount" so it was impossible to verify a selection.
Our development department told me that in case of this combo box they are
using own objects in the listbox instead of simple strings. Well, this may
have led to this behaviour but does anybody know of such restrictions?
official rational restrictions?
I can see that it may be difficult to support a lot of object types and
understand that the items can't be selected by text but why did the
itemCount property disappear???

Can you do an obj property verification on the object and get data to
return in the baseline ?
