Java List Box Non Selection
Robot is not correctly playing back selections I have made in a Java ComboBox and a Java ListBox. I am mouse clicking the selections when I record but on playback the mouse clicks are made on the wrong items in the lists.
Re: Java List Box Non Selection
Robot is unable to recognise many of the javax.swing objects completely and instead recognises mouse clicks on them as simple Window clicks with co-ords. Hence Window positions shoulf be same as at record time. become important Even if it doesrecognise, at times it recognises them by index and not by name, or text. Index values might change at runtime because of additions / deletions to the list. Hence your script might fail.
Another solution : In list box, instead of mouse , try using the UP / DOWN / ENTER keys
Morever officially, Robot 2002 does not support Java 1.4. And have you run the Java Enabler after a clean reboot?
