Re: Tree View Click issue

Have you tried using the Object Properties VP (TC in older versions) to
see which properties Robot can see?
I have used the Name property as the primary recognition method for the
Visual Basic "TreeViewWndClass" control when doing TreeView Click. I've
also been able to specify the parameter "Location=Icon" in TreeView
Right_Click on the same control.
p.s. It helps to specify the development environment, Object Class, etc.
Tree View Click issue
User Catherine Mifsud (email@example.com) posted:
One of the application I currently have under test is having a tree
navigator on the left part of the screen.
I am trying to have Robot going click directly on one of the branch call
DefaultCase using the following command:
TreeView Click, "ObjectIndex=3;\;ItemText=DefaultCAse", ""
Of course it does not work in this particular application (works fine in an
other) because in this particular application a file icon is associated to
the text in the branch. I assume that just giving the tesx in item text is
not sufficient for Robot to recognize it correctly.
Is there anybody who already face this problem or anybody with a great idea
to force Robot clicking on this branch.
Thanks for your help
