I took a Rational U course in Feb on using the VU language for performance
testing - I highly recommend it - It gave me the heads up I needed to make
the transition from GUI scripting to VU-land, where the concepts are a bit
different. You'll find that you rely heavily on the VU Recorder, and what
initially you would think to be a quick recording ends up being hundreds of
lines of VU script. Plus, there's the new concepts of transactors and
selectors, etc. Plus, I had never used Test Manager for anything other than
looking at the logs generated by my GUI scripts. It's a big jump, IMHO.
What protocol are you going to be scripting?
