The problem is in your suite, you call the two script independently...
Test manager understand this flow of event like this, start the first script...then close
it and start the second one. It's like if you was starting the first script alone in
Robot and close it, then open the second one and execute it. So that why the suite loose
any variable and cannot keep it in memory.
Call your shell script in the suite that call the two script. Like this:
Computer Group:Suite 2 : Prompt for computers before
Test Script: ShellTest1: 1 time(s)

Actually if you are running 2002 it is a bug in TestManager that is causing the variables to be reinitialiezed. This has been verified by Rational and is being looked at as a potential "Hot Fix".
In a TestManager suite, and not in a Robot shell script, global variables are being reinitialized each time a new script is executed. In a Robot shell script the problem does not occur.
