What does 2 x Test Studio node locked license allow for.
Ideally, we would like to have Rational TestStudio on one local machine, and this would hold all of the test plans, cases, and even scripts. Remote machines (Win2000, WinNT) would be used to plan, implement and execute tests, and the local one would be used as a repository of information, to be accessed by both remote computers.
There are only 2 of us in the test team..would a better alternative be to forget the bull****, and just create plans, cases and scripts independently on our own machines, and share everything?
A TestStudio node locked licenses allows you to install any or all of the TestStudio suite on one system and one system only. You can not install individual programs on multiple system to make up the equivalent of one suite install.
Once the suite license is used for even a single component that license is locked for the entire suite.
I would suggest creating a central area for the two of you to share project files through the tools. Lookup "Projects and the Rational Administrator" in Help for more detailed information.

I would say to make a directory on the network that holds all of your projects and repositories. you will have to change the option of where you folder for your libs are by going to Tools->general options then to pref then change the sqabasic path to where your libs are
