We hv the flwg questions about Clear Quest.
1. we hv created a physical and logical db for CQ and connected to the
rational project. When we deleted the physical DB, the logical Db still
exist. where are these stored? any idea? how to delete these logical DBs too
2. We hv created a project in UNC path and connected Requisite pro and
CQ. The test cases are linked to the reqmts in Req*Pro. But when we open
this project from another client on the network, the project is up, the test
cases can be seen but the linkages to the reqmts (test inputs) are not seen.
also we are unable to connect to clear Quest using the default connection
2002.05.00. We also tried to create another connection and export and import
the profile. It did not help. The path of the physical DB is not visible
from this client. where are we going wrong? Every thing works fine from the
machine where the product is installed (using UNC path or \\machine
can any one help us?

You need to go into the actual database and delete the reference to the
logical database from the admin.projects table. I don't know what your
backend database is, but a simple SQL delete statement will work for
SQL_Anywhere and SQL databases.
Is this an upgraded project, or a new one? If an upgrade, to keep the
tools in synch, you need to step through each release (i.e., 2001 to
2001a, then to 2002). Did you get all your attributes defined correctly
in ReqPro for types? If the profile did not import correctly, how are you
even able to connect at login? Which physical db are you referring
to...the one for ReqPro or ClearQuest?
