I have written a script to execute from command prompt. I give log name, build name as command line arguments (i.e. parameter). When i execute the script, it open robot and performs necessary actions (i.e. based on the script), displays log details in Test managers. Through command line operation, i am able to close robot but not Test Manager. Is there any way i can write a script to write to log file without opening in test manager. Also if the log file exists, i should be able to over write log without prompting user.
Within Robot on the machine in question there is a setting on the Playback Options. On the Log tab the top two options are the fields which you should change. Simply ensure that 'View Log After Playback' is de-selected. The logs will still be written but the Log Viewer will not launch once complete. On the tab there is an option to 'Prompt User' before overwriteing Log' ensure that this is also de-selected
