What happened to Simon?
1) We don't rely on scripts as such, there are some areas when our
functions are slower, but our early problems were more to do with trying to
identify objects with unsuitable recognition methods. My memory is fading,
but I think we were trying to do things like "name=OKBtn" rather than
"Type=Generic;Name=OKBtn", but I can not swear to it. If you want to pop
down the road to Farnham to see how our stuff runs or what our code looks
like you are welcome, maybe we are just as slow as you are?

I am testing a Delphi application using Rational Suite TestStudio (on
I have recently upgraded from Rational v2001 to v2002. This done per
Rationals upgrade procedure documents. Thereafter, downloaded and
installed the Rational Robot Service Pack (v2002.05.01), which listed slow
playback as one of the issues fixed...
I have made sure to compile my delphi project with the delphi enabler as
described in Rational documents - on the current software version;
1. my script playback remains extremely slow
2. when recording scripts, delphi object recognition is painfully slow.
Am I missing something obvious here? Has anyone else had similar problems?
Any suggestions would be welcome...
