There is an object that you have to make a reference to in the project. I
don't remember what it is called, but it is SQA something.

Here is something that you can try, just remember what you did incase you
    need to change it back.

    1) On the Tools menu pick General Options
    2) Select the Object Mapping Tab
    3) In Object Type pick PushButton
    4) Click Add and in the dialog box type in AfxFrameOrView

    Try your script again.

To undo these steps do the following:

    1) On the Tools menu pick General Options
    2) Select the Object Mapping Tab
    3) In Object Type pick Generic
    4) Click Add and in the dialog box type in AfxFrameOrView

This will get you what you are looking for, but who knows what it will mess
up. Worth a try since you know for sure you can undo it. Be sure to click
through any warnings you will no doubt get.

Looks like your dealing with the MFC, ATL controls
or are you using the VB DCOM or Java control.
In which case check that your enablers are on...

The MFC stuff is typically dynamically created according the Infragistics
web site so window handles my constantly change as objects are created.

Do the Infragistics samples (from there web site) read ok in robot.
If they do ask the programmers whats been turned off in the control.
Finally send Infragistic an email about testing tools that validate their
    product.

unable to capture the Properties on Infragistics Dataexplorer Ver 8.0

    User satish (satishprasanna@hotmail.com.nospam) posted:

The actions commands are not getting recognised on any of the forms which
are getting dynamically populated on the Infragistics Dataexplorer ver
    8.0.

Always i am getting the following script whenever i am clicking on the
    push button.

    GenericObject Click, "Class=AfxFrameOrView;ClassIndex=4", "Coords=372,3"

I even tried to install the test enabler on the development environment
and also we droped the SQA ocx on the forms also. but still I am not able
to get any solution from that also.

Please anyone of you show me the way. I will really appreciate the help.

    Thanks
