Web Testing Problem
I'm in the process of ObjectData verification/comparison on a web page. Initially, I recorded the objects and the script worked perfectly. Later in the script...when I attempted to verify/compare the same objects on the same page, I received an fail error stating that the objects couldn't be identified. Is this because the page contains information that moves or changes? Please help!
Re: Web Testing Problem
Yes, it may be because your page changes. Check if you're setting test context before object verification (see Window commands in Help). Check your page with Inspector once more and verify that objects still can be identified in the way you're identifying them in the script. May be, you're using Indexes to identify objects, and indexes have changed. Check what have changed. Always try to use information which does not change. It may be IDs, if your programmers provide them for you. If not - it's a problem.
