Stoopidumb TM question
User Steve Gray (sgray@BridgeMedical.com.nospam) posted:
I'm wondering about the test input adaptors - our requirements are in an
access database - does anyone have a Test Input Adaptor for use with access?
If so, would it work for us?

Steve, I don't use TM, but since nobody has reponded, here's my 2 bits:
TM has an import filter for Word. This is rather unfortunate in your
case, as Excel would be a much more convenient option, as it is supported
by the Save As/Export and Send functions in Access. However, if an import
filter for Access does not exist/work, you could do the following from
1. Create a query that returns the necessary data in a format that suites
TM's import requirements (for Word).
2. Run the query and use the Save As or Send function in Access to write
it to Rich Text file format.
3. Open the RTF file in Word, then import the Word doc into TM. You may
have to save to Word file format first.
