I tend to build the text up before I use it
sListBox String = "Text="+Chr$(9)+"&Database...;Coords=61,26"
ListBox Click, "ID=101",sListBox String

Subject: listbox selections
Security Level:? Internal
When recording listbox selections robot can record either of the following
ListBox Click, "ID=101", "Index=1;Coords=109,23"
ListBox Click, "ID=101", "Text="+Chr$(9)+"&Database...;Coords=61,26"
this is dependant on wether I have the "Identify list contents by" set to
"Text" or "ID" in GUI Record Options.
Unfortunatley what I need to record is the Text and the ID (I don't care
particularly about the coordinates) so that it produces something like
ListBox Click, "ID=101", "Text="+Chr$(9)+"&Database...;Index=1"
Can this be done? I think probably not but I'm hoping there's some setting
somewhere that will do it.

This should work IF both of these properties are visible to Robot (omit
Coords when Text is specified - you only need one or the other):
ListBox Click, "ID=3D101", "Text=<YourText>"
To verify that these properties can be used, open the dialog containing
the ListBox, put Robot in Record mode, and select the Object Properties VP
from the toolbar and point it at the ListBox. Look through the grid
containing captured properties, and verify that the "ID" and "Text"
properties are listed, and that each contains the expected value.
I would also recommend checking to see if the "Name" property is captured,
and if so, use this in place of the "ID".
