Debugging Java proxies
User (firstname.lastname@example.org) posted:
I have a Java proxy interface for a third-party custom Java component.
The component loads in an applet and is being tested using Robot 2000.
I would like to debug my proxy object and am using
'RbtProxyDebug.println' method for printing debug messages. I would like
to know where these debug messages go and is there a way to configure it
using 'JavaProxyDebugON.reg' file.

Actually I got nothing better than a slight clue for you.
With a "real" java app you have to start the app with the javaw.exe instead
of the java.exe to get a console window. all debug messages are sent to
that. With an applet things are obviously different. I would try the
following: In the browser settings make sure java logging is enabled, also
script debugging should be. I also have an option java console enabled, that
I would check to get some output.
But to where the output goes is up to you to find out.
Hope that helps....
