Re: Accessing DataPool
User Dickson Nicholas-END011 (email@example.com) posted:
You must first make sure the data is correct in the datapool. What is happening to the datapool after saving sounds like a corruption issue (don't really have an answer for this one). Try rebooting and creating a new datapool and see what happens. Second, upon retrieving data into your scripts, make sure the cursor in the datapool is retrieving in the proper sequence you desire. Set this done buy using the SQADatapoolFetch, SQADatapoolRewind and SQADatapoolValue commands to specify the cursor location between columns to retrieve data.
I know this doesn't address all your issues but I hope this at least helps.

I am using Datapool to access values continuosly. While I was doing that
I notice that few fields value(user-defined fields) is being edited with
unexpected data. I have edited the DataPool and saved it, but again when
I open the Datapool, data I entered is replaced with the other data that I
saw initially and while I export it to excel I see the correct data I have
saved. The same data wrong data is being input by Robot While I replay
the script for those couple of specific fields. Not only that when I run
the script in loop and when it starts for the 2nd cycle the starting
fields which input correctly while I run individually are being replaced
with the wrong data of the other fields with which I have problem.
As seen in the DataPool
Ex: field 1 field 2 filed3 field4
nish max 000(while the actual 500 (While the actual
data I entered is $500) data I entered is "ID")
Can anyone of you help me.
