..more with genericobject
when I click on an object that is considered a genericobject, is
the class = and classindex = reference arguements static throughout the
app? ie. are these reference values the same if the same object is
on multiple forms? or is their index value per form?
...will have to deal with alot of generic object issues in automating our
app and not sure of appropriate ways to get a handle on the data for
verification or validation of these objects
any help appreciated!

If you are seeing a lot of generic objects, there is a chance that the
enabler is not compiled in the application. What kind of application is it,
and do you know about the enabler?
